She is on feeding tube now and there is a lot of phelgm which she have no strength to expirate out. We had to use a suction machine to suck out her phelgm but she is very resistant to it and we can't suck out much. Her breathing is getting weaker and she needs a lot of strength to breathe which is not a good sign.
Her parkinson disease had worsen. I don't know is it because of her medication or because it is really deteriorating faster now.
I am worried that she is having infection which we could not detect. She doesn't have any fever, but she had difficult breathing and that is a sign of infection according to the doctors. Her last trip to hospital was due to lung infection. She managed to recover and discharged. Hopefully, we can keep the infection away.
Next 2 weeks there will be a followup with doctors on her conditions, hopefully the doctors can advise on how to make her comfortable and reduces the phlegm.
I think my health is not good either. I am having back pain all the way to my backside. According to doctors, I may have slipped disc and it is pressing on my nerves. Think I had hurt my back when moving of my mum. Also, I had not been sleeping well. Had been sleeping very late because I had to make sure my mum's phlegm gets suck out before she dozes off. Also woken up in the night by her moaning and need to get up to make sure she is not choking on her phlegm.
Think I need to start my exercise routine and read up ways to minimize my back pain. I read that there is no recovery once you have slipped disc, you can only lessen the pain. That is the problem of aging, all the parts got worn off.
All right, I am going to get my sleep now. For a healthier tomorrow ...
